CARE Laos Approaches on addressing Gender and GBV

• Strengthen Women’s voices to make informed choices and decisions to a live free from Violence.
• Promote Transformative social behaviour cultural norm and practice change that enable women and girls’ autonomy and safety and end Harmful norms and attitudes that perpetuate gender-based violence.
• Strengthen Community-based initiatives and mechanisms for prevention and response to GBV.
• Promote equitable access for Marginalised women and girls to quality survivor-centred services that address gender-based violence.
• Men and boys as agents of change advocate for sexual reproductive health rights of women and girls.
• Advocate, development, socialize and implement policies and laws on gender equality, sexual reproductive health rights   and gender-based violence.
