The 8th National Nutrition Forum, under the theme “ Nutrition for Sustainable Development“,  officially opened on 21 February 2023 as the meeting was co-chair by H.E. Prof. Dr. Kikeo Khaykhamphithoune, Deputy Prime Minister of Lao PDR, Chair of National Committee for Nutrition, Mr. Neil Leonard, European Union Charge d’Affairs to the Lao PDR, Dr. Pia Rebello Britto, UNICEF Laos Representative to Lao PDR, and civil society organisations and private sectors to report keys achievement, exchange lessons learned and challenges on their work in the nutrition sector in 2022 and to create a priorities plan for 2023 to improve nutrition work in Laos.

CARE International in Laos was proud to participate in the meeting and present the results of the work we have done on nutrition through booth exhibition. CARE is committed to continuing to work with our partners to promote and improve nutrition outcomes and contribute to the national effort to improve nutrition for sustainable development in Lao PDR.
