CARE International in Lao PDR and the Department of Health in Phongsaly signed the Memorandums of Understanding

Recently, CARE International in Lao PDR and the Department of Health in Phongsaly signed the Memorandums of Understanding for the Strengthen the Quality of Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health Services (Phase III) project in Phongsaly Province.

This project aims to improve Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health and builds on the significant progress of the past two phases. The project is funded by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs Luxembourg and will be implementing in 45 villages, 33 villages of Phase II and 12 new villages in the three districts of Phongsaly province (Khua, Mai, and Somphan). This is an exciting opportunity for us to make a difference in the work of promoting maternal and child health.
