On September 23, 2023, CARE International in Lao PDR attended and exhibited in the Youth Climate Action Conference in Laos 2023 at the International Cooperation and Training Center (ICTC) which was organized by Zero Waste Laos. In the seminar, there was a discussion of youth on the climate problems, activities on climate change, and exhibitions from various sectors working on climate change.
The CARE organization is implementing a project to strengthen the media through the Green Action through Media, Mass Organization and Civil Society in Laos Project (GAMCIL) which funding from the European Union with a focus on improving professional skills of Lao journalists in enabling quality information reporting on green development issues to the public through the use of digital and new technologies.
This is a good opportunity for all of us from many sectors to cooperate in dealing with and reducing the effects of climate change in many ways.
