On June 9, 2022, CARE International in Lao PDR held a project Closing Ceremony and handed over equipment to local partners of the Partnership for Improved Nutrition in Luang Namtha Province (SCALING) Project. The meeting was held to summarize the evaluation results of the project implementation in Luang Namtha Province. The results showed that the project has been successful across many areas of work from 2019-2022, especially in nutrition and reproductive health, strengthening the health system, women’s workload reduction and gender equality in the family, establishing Village Saving and Loans Associations (VSLAs), building and maintaining water systems, and hygiene and sanitation.
