CARE International in Lao PDR held a Refresher Course Training Early Essential Newborn Care Program in 9 Health Centers.

On May 22–26, 2023, the Promotion of the Quality of Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health Services in Phongsaly Province (Phase III) of CARE International in Lao PDR held a Refresher Course Training Early Essential Newborn Care Program in 9 Health Centers. The purpose is to refresh the lessons learned about taking care of mothers and newborns before and after birth and to improve the practices and knowledge of the health care staff at the maternity unit and the pediatric unit at the district hospitals as well as in the health centers.
