On March 25, 2023, CARE International in Lao PDR led representatives of Dakcheung highland coffee production group participated in the announcement of Lao Green Coffee Competition in 2023, which we sent five of arabica coffee samples in two categories: washed and honey arabica. As a result of competition, coffee sample in Khounxay village won the 2nd prize with a score of 83,92 from arabica washed process and coffee sample in Dakden village won the 3rd prize with a score of 84,47 from arabica honey process.
This is the most important that will help the group of coffee farmers in Dakcheung to be known and accepted as special coffee both at the national and international level.
