On 18 – 23 March 2024, CARE International in Lao PDR organized a study tour to share lessons between participants of the Improved Food Diversity Project, Phase III with the farmers’ network of Paksong and Phonthong Districts, Champasak Province. The study tour was to help them get new lessons in agricultural production for food and goods in the community and to help farmers share lessons together and bring what they learn to apply to their local area. After the study tour, the farmers were more knowledgeable and more interested in the cultivation of commercial crops because these lessons will help them to build economies in their own communities.
