On July 30, 2023, CARE International in Lao PDR was honored to participate in the celebration of National Nutrition Day under the theme “Eat well Live well”. At the event, there was a discussion about the importance and promotion of good nutrition for all. CARE also promotes nutrition, especially maternal health and child in the first 1000 days, providing seedlings and promoting integrated home gardens for communities in the target areas of the project in Phongsaly and Sekong provinces.
