In July 2021, CARE International in Lao PDR together with its partners conducted a training on psychosocial counseling for provincial and district government officials and program officers in Luang Namtha Province. The training aimed to enhance psychosocial counseling abilities among participants from different units in Luang Namtha Province to equip them with the skills to provide basic counseling to community members dealing with mental health issues or gender-based violence during the COVID-19 outbreak
