On August 4, 2021, the Agro-Climate Information (ACIS) project for the Adaption of Resilient Farming Practices by Women and Ethnic Minority Farmers in Phongsaly Province provided training and materials for modern beekeeping to farmers in three village groups in Mai District and two in Samphanh District. The ACIS aims to support farmers to simultaneously increase their incomes and play a role in protecting the abundant natural resources of their forested communities. The project also set up a beekeeping center where community members can come to learn and share about their beekeeping experiences. With the support of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Luxembourg.
